A gay<\/a> student at Queensland University in Australia was jeered as he preached against same-sex<\/a> marriage on the school\u2019s campus this week. A postal vote is underway in the country over marriage equality.<\/p>\n \u201cI support what marriage really is and I\u2019m gay<\/a>. \u00a0These people hate us. They call<\/a> us Nazis, bigots and homophobes,\u201d said the student, identified as Wilson, referring to the pro-equality crowd. \u201cWhere\u2019s the real hatred here?\u00a0They can\u2019t call<\/a> me a homophobe. The entire way they\u2019re going about their debate is shouting us down\u2026people who want to destroy everything that is good about Australia. They want to introduce radical gender ideology into schools.\u201d<\/p>\n Added Wilson<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re here today because we support marriage as it has always been \u2013 between one man<\/a> and one woman<\/a>.\u00a0And I am here specifically because I\u2019m a gay<\/a> man<\/a>. I\u2019m a gay<\/a> conservative who wants to see marriage the way it is.
