New UK Reality Show \u2018Bromans\u2019 Forces 8 \u2018Bros\u2019 to Strip Naked in the First Five Minutes: WATCH<\/b><\/p>\n

Bromans<\/em>, the UK\u2019s latest entry in the frivolous reality TV competition, sends eight men<\/a> back to ancient Rome to see if they can hack it.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s reality TV at its most gawk-worthy, as the men<\/a> are forced to strip completely naked<\/a> in the first five minutes.<\/p>\n

Check out the full first episode HERE<\/a> while it\u2019s up. It\u2019s not exactly work-friendly so be warned.<\/p>\n

The Daily Dot sums up the show\u2019s premise<\/a>:<\/p>\n

It invites a group of bros from 2017 to come\u00a0live<\/a> in a house and act like ancient Romans\u00a0for the chance to win \u00a310,000. Contestants are allowed to bring their girlfriends<\/a> with them for moral support, but because they have to comply to the norms of Roman culture, the men<\/a> go off and participate in grueling, gladiator-like challenges while the women<\/a> practice wine-making and sculpting back at the house. It\u2019s like the\u00a0Real World\/Road Rules Challenge<\/em>, plus\u00a0Bachelor in Paradise<\/em>, plus cosplay.<\/p>\n

And aside from the reality format, how realistic is it actually?<\/p>\n

Andrew James Sillett, a Classics professor at England\u2019s University of Oxford, live<\/a>-tweeted the first episode and weighed in. He gave it a thumbs-up!<\/p>\n
