Though Tortorella made waves when\u00a0he came out as sexually fluid in June<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 he said at the time, \u201cI\u2019ve never been in any sort of closet\u201d \u2014 he now says he feels that \u2018bisexual<\/a>\u2019 more accurately describes him.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Tortorella told the group on the show, \u00a0which included host Greta Titelman, comedians Will Miles and Giulia Rozzi, and matchmaker and dating expert Steve Ward:<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not in an open relationship so I can go out and just f**k whoever I want. For me, it\u2019s more about the ability to emotionally connect with people outside of my primary partner and just have that space\u2026.The fact of the matter is, we\u2019ve only been shown one story since basically the beginning of time and that\u2019s man<\/a>, woman<\/a> and family \u2014 and that\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n Watch:<\/p>\n Said Tortorella to\u00a0The Advocate<\/em><\/a> earlier this year:<\/em>\u00a0\u201cI think for so long there\u2019s been like one quote-unquote normal way of life. And anybody that doesn\u2019t live<\/a> in that structure needs to find a home of sorts. And I think labels are really important for kids, especially, [who] can\u2019t find their tribe where they are, and need to go find their people, their family. For that reason, I think labels are extremely important.\u201d<\/p>\n Tortorella also said he calls<\/a> himself bisexual<\/a> to battle bi<\/a> erasure: \u201cI can be emotionally, physically attracted to men<\/a>. I can be emotionally,\u00a0 physically attracted to women<\/a>. The \u2018B\u2019 in LGBTQ-plus has been fought for, for so long.
