<\/a><\/p>\nSeth Meyers told Hillary Clinton to stop blaming Bernie Sanders for her election loss in his recurring segment \u201cHey!\u201d on Wednesday night. Clinton writes in her new book What Happened<\/em> that Sanders paved the way for Trump\u2019s attacks on her.<\/p>\n \u201cHillary Clinton, don\u2019t blame Bernie because\u00a0Donald Trump<\/span>\u00a0called you names,\u201d said Meyers. \u201cI promise you he was gonna do that anyway. It\u2019s not like Trump watched Bernie at the debates and thought, \u2018criticizing Hillary? That just might work.’\u201d<\/p>\n Meyers also pointed out that Trump didn\u2019t need Bernie\u2019s permission to be an a**hole:<\/p>\n \u201cA**holes don\u2019t ask for permission. That\u2019s what makes them a**holes.\u201d<\/p>\n Meyers also scolds Clinton for wasting pages on Bernie because Bernie\u2019s not going to pay $17.99 for a book: \u201cThat\u2019s like four and a half chicken noodle soups.\u201d<\/p>\n Meyers also pointed out that Clinton won the election by 3 million votes, so there\u2019s no point in blaming Bernie for the loss: \u201cIf you want to blame something ancient, blame the Electoral College. We shouldn\u2019t be running the most important elections on earth on a system designed over 200 years ago to appease slave-owners.\u201d<\/p>\n Meyer concluded by pointing out there are more important things to be concerned with right now:<\/p>\n \u201cWe are living through a very dark time in America, but there is also an unprecedented opportunity to bring Democrats and liberals together in a stand against the hate and incompetence in Washington.
