The writer of the letter, which was published by the Mankato Free Press<\/em>, also threatens to torch their home and says \u201ca gun could be used to eliminate you.\u201d An attorney representing the couple<\/a> also published the letter to Facebook.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Mankato Free Press<\/em> reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n St. Peter police are investigating the letter as a possible crime, Chief Matt Peters said. It isn\u2019t part of a trend; there haven\u2019t been any similar letters in St. Peter recently, he said.<\/p>\n The women<\/a> say they were shocked to receive the letter, which was typed and mailed, and have no idea who wrote it.<\/p>\n \u201cI have never, ever in my entire life felt unsafe in St. Peter,\u201d one of the women<\/a> said. \u201cThis is where I grew up.
