<\/a><\/p>\nSchumer and Senator Brian Schatz<\/a> (D-Hawaii) said yesterday that Trump\u2019s nomination of Sam Clovis<\/a> (above) sends a \u201cclear as day message to the world that this administration continues to tolerate hate.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Clovis is a climate change denier. He has said that Barack Obama wanted to \u201censlave\u201d his opponents and that former president was happy after the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya.
