<\/a><\/p>\nJohn Oliver went after White House\u00a0advisor Stephen Miller on Sunday night for his defense of Trump\u2019s immigration bill which would favor immigrants who speak English, among other things.<\/p>\n
Miller had an exchange with CNN\u2019s Jim Acosta last week in which he argued that the inscription on the Statue of Liberty referencing\u00a0\u201cyour tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free\u201d was irrelevant because it was added later.<\/p>\n
Said Oliver:<\/p>\n
\u201cJust because it wasn\u2019t part of the original does not mean it is worthless. Some of the best things ever made were changed part way through. Did you notice for instance, that there was a time when\u00a0The Fast and the Furious movies didn\u2019t have The Rock in them? It\u2019s true. And they sucked. That\u2019s why they added the f**king Rock!\u201d<\/p>\n
Oliver then lamented the fact that Miller is being considered for the job of White House Communications Director, noting that \u201che\u2019s 31 human years old. He\u2019s the same age as the Olson twin!
