Blumenthal appeared earlier this morning on CNN\u2019s\u00a0New Day<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(above) to talk about the White House\u2019s crackdown on leaks, warning of the danger of\u00a0\u201cweaponizing\u201d the Justice Dept. for \u201cpersonal end.\u201d<\/p>\n Tweeted Trump:<\/p>\n \u201cInteresting to watch Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut talking about hoax Russian collusion when he was a phony Vietnam con artist!\u00a0Never in U.S.history has anyone lied or defrauded voters like Senator Richard Blumenthal.
