<\/a><\/p>\nCall Me By Your Name<\/em>, the film adaptation of the Andre Aciman novel starring Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet and directed by Luca Guadagnino, was a critical rave at Sundance, and\u00a0snatched up quickly<\/a>\u00a0in January by Sony Pictures Classics.<\/p>\n Hammer plays the story\u2019s \u201c24-year old American scholar spending the summer of 1983 in Northern Italy, where he attracts the attention of a 17-year-old Jewish-American boy<\/a>, played by Timothee Chalamet.\u201d<\/p>\n Writes Vulture<\/a>:<\/p>\n There\u2019s a lot to swoon over here, from the pitch-perfect performances to the gorgeous cinematography by Sayombhu Mukdeeprom and the two new Sufjan Stevens songs on the soundtrack \u2014 one of which, \u201cMystery of Love,\u201d you can hear in this trailer. Alas, you\u2019ve still got a while longer until you can check out the movie in full: A near-certain Oscar contender, Guadagnino\u2019s film won\u2019t be released until November 24. It may seem like too long a wait for something so anticipated, but if it weren\u2019t bittersweet, it wouldn\u2019t be\u00a0Call Me by Your Name<\/em>.<\/p>\n Watch the new trailer:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Variety reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n Guadagnino casts his lead actors without even conducting a chemistry test. He shot his lush drama near in Crema, Italy. During the first rehearsal, in a garden outside of the film\u2019s house, he had Hammer and Chalamet go straight to a pivotal moment in the script, which was adapted from a beloved 2007 novel.<\/p>\n \u201cThe next thing we know, we\u2019re lying in the grass and making out,\u201d Hammer said, adding: \u201cThe shooting of the first kiss scene was great.
