Among them is Viceland\u2019s new series What Would Diplo Do?<\/em> following the exploits of a fictionalized version of the real-life DJ Diplo played by James Van Der Beek. The DJ is allegedly totally OK with Van Der Beek\u2019s caricature, and we\u2019re totally OK with Van Der Beek re-enacting Diplo\u2019s shirtless puppy pile from Charli XCX\u2019s \u201cBoys\u201d video<\/a>. Catch the premiere Thursday at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The beloved cult comedy talk\/variety show The Chris Gethard Show<\/em> is back, now on TruTV. Gethard and his lovable cohort of misfits return for a new season Thursday at 11 p.m. Eastern. It\u2019s must-see TV for anyone interested in the stars of alt-comedy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

If you thought What Would Diplo Do?<\/em> sounded high-concept, get ready for Comrade Detective<\/em>. Movie hunks Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt dub over the voices of two cops in a 1980s Romanian cop drama. Part Cold War satire, part Law & Orde<\/em>r procedural, the new Amazon series is unique if nothing else. All episodes drop Friday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

While you\u2019re feeling nostalgic, check back in with your favorite happy campers in Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later<\/em>. Fulfilling the promise they made at the end of the original Wet Hot<\/em>, the star-studded cast (Amy Poehler! Christopher Meloni! Elizabeth Banks! Paul Rudd!) return to see what the \u201890s holds. New episodes hit Netflix Friday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Beloved characters are dropping like flies on this season of Game of Thrones<\/em>. As we speed along past this season\u2019s halfway point Sunday at 9 p.m. Eastern on HBO, there\u2019s no telling who will be safe (and who will form uneasy alliances). What we do know is Daenerys needs some friends, and fast.<\/p>\n
