New Yorker<\/em> reporter Ryan Lizza has given more details of an unhinged phone call<\/a> he had with new White House Communications Director Anthony \u2018The Mooch\u2019 Scaramucci\u00a0which led to two tweets from Scaramucci suggesting that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus was the source of leaks coming from the White House.<\/p>\n On the phone call<\/a>, which Lizza says was on the record, Scaramucci threatened to fire everyone in Trump\u2019s inner circle to rid it of leakers if Lizza wouldn\u2019t name the person who gave him information that Sean Hannity had eaten dinner with the president or the leaker of The Mooch\u2019s financial disclosure form.<\/p>\n Scaramucci also had some choice words about top staffers.<\/p>\n From Lizza\u2019s piece<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019ll all be fired by me,\u201d he said. \u201cI fired one guy<\/a> the other day. I have three to four people I\u2019ll fire tomorrow. I\u2019ll get to the person who leaked that to you. Reince Priebus\u2014if you want to leak something\u2014he\u2019ll be asked to resign very shortly.\u201d The issue, he said, was that he believed Priebus had been worried about the dinner because he hadn\u2019t been invited. \u201cReince is a f**king paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,\u201d Scaramucci said. He channelled Priebus as he spoke: \u201c \u2018Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the f**king thing and\u00a0see if I can cock<\/a>-block these people the way I cock<\/a>-blocked Scaramucci for six months.\u2019 \u201d (Priebus did not respond to a request for comment.)<\/p>\n He also had words about Steve Bannon:<\/p>\n Scaramucci also told me that, unlike other senior officials, he had no interest in media attention. \u201cI\u2019m not Steve Bannon, I\u2019m not trying to suck my own cock<\/a>,\u201d he said, speaking of Trump\u2019s chief strategist. \u201cI\u2019m not trying to build my own brand off the f**king strength of the President. I\u2019m here to serve the country.\u201d (Bannon declined to comment.)<\/p>\n So, yeah, definitely making friends over at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.<\/p>\n Scaramucci has responded to Lizza\u2019s story on Twitter:<\/p>\n I sometimes use colorful language.
