Seth Meyers Dives in to the \u2018Cartoonishly Evil\u2019 Trumpcare Bill That Will Rip Coverage from 22 Million Americans: WATCH<\/b><\/p>\n

Seth Meyers dove into the \u201ccomically villainous\u201d\u00a0Senate GOP Trumpcare bill last night in his \u2018Closer Look\u2019 segment.<\/p>\n

But first he took a look at Trump\u2019s ever-changing story about why he fired FBI Director James Comey and his admittal that there are no tapes, an assertion he repeated in a nonsensical FOX & Friends interview on Monday.<\/p>\n

Said Meyers: \u201cWhat? You sound like someone dropped a box of magnetic poetry into a blender\u2026Now if you heard someone rambling like that on the subway, you\u2019d switch cars.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meyers then turned to the Senate GOP Trumpcare bill which attacks the poor and the old, addicts, Planner Parenthood and its clients, and the Centers for Disease Control. It would also leave 22 million people without healthcare.<\/p>\n

Said Meyers:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only way this bill could be more cartoonishly evil was if it mandated tying damsels in distress to railroad tracks. The bill is essentially a giant tax cut for the wealthy paid for with Medicaid cuts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meyers had another simile\u00a0for the bill, which Trump himself has called \u201cmean\u201d and secretive: \u201cThis bill is like a Slipknot tramp stamp. You definitely want to hide it and the people who have seen it are terrible people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also, Trump apparently just realized there\u2019s a movement called \u201cresist\u201d to oppose his policies, and suggested that the theme of the movement should be, \u201clet\u2019s get together. Envelope.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quipped Meyers: \u201cWhat? You think their theme should be \u2018let\u2019s get together. Envelope?\u201d And you\u2019re supposed to be the marketing genius?\u201d<\/p>\n
