Lactatia, an 8-year-old drag queen, stole the show at the Montreal date of the Werq the World Tour<\/a>\u00a0when he was brought on stage by Bianca del Rio and proceeded to take her down with two words: Ginger Minj<\/em>.<\/p>\n Watch:<\/p>\n there was a little boy<\/a> in drag at our show and bianca brought him on stage pic.twitter.com\/YKkpvOEFM3<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 sisky (@markrentcn) May 28, 2017<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Lactatia, who goes by Nemis when he\u2019s not in drag, told Best Kept Montreal why he loves his favorite drag queen:<\/p>\n \u201cI love how she coordinates her outfits and I love how she does her make-up. She\u2019s my favourite because she\u2019s funny. She inspires\u00a0me by how she performs and how she does everything.\u00a0<\/strong>She just inspires me. She is THE Comedy Queen and I just love how she does drag.\u201d<\/p>\n Nemis\u2019s parents also spoke with the website<\/a>:<\/p>\n Did we know it would lead to him being passionate about becoming the greatest drag queen the world has ever seen? No, but we were one hundred percent certain that Nemis was a natural performer, had the ability to captivate a crowd and was the most self-aware person we knew.<\/em><\/p>\n Obviously, we\u2019re not like most moms and dads. Instead of\u00a0Saturday\u00a0morning soccer practice, we have Vogue classes. When we go clothes shopping it\u2019s equal parts black skinny jeans and skulls as it is sequins and tulle. We talk ollies, grinding and dropping in- he\u2019s pretty dedicated to his skateboard, just as much as contouring and tuck tape!<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0And as far as sexuality and drag <\/em>go, Nemis understands that a majority of Queens are gay<\/a>. <\/em>It\u2019s something we\u2019ve talked a lot about at length because he expressed his concern that people wouldn\u2019t think he was a\u201d real \u201cdrag queen or take him seriously because he doesn\u2019t feel like he\u2019s gay<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n Maybe he will in the future? Who knows.
