<\/a><\/p>\nA North Carolina man<\/a> has said he is \u201cextremely remorseful\u201d following his arrest for a homophobic hate crime<\/a> in Florida last February.<\/span><\/p>\n Davis yelled \u201cYou guys<\/a> are a couple<\/a> of fags,\u201d \u201cI bet you faggots voted for that bitch Hillary\u201d and \u201cyou live<\/a> in Trump country now,\u201d reports <\/span>FLKeys News<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the Miami Herald<\/em><\/b><\/a>, the Key West Police Department said 30-year-old Davis was taken into custody by the Onslow County Sheriff\u2019s Office in North Carolina on an \u201cextraditable warrant\u201d for felony aggravated battery following\u00a0the February 23rd incident. He was booked for felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon<\/span><\/p>\n Brandon Bieber, the Miami attorney representing Davis, said his client regrets the incident. \u201cHe is extremely remorseful for what happened,\u201d said Bieber, \u201cand he is doing his best to work hard every day to take care of his fianc\u00e9e and her two children, and looks forward to putting this matter behind him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Davis has not appeared in court in Florida since his arrest in North Carolina. All court appearances have been made through court motions.
