\nAbout the photograph.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

This is the finishing point of the Pride parade route, on the A4161<\/b> called Kingsway<\/b> (in Welsh language: Ffordd Y Brenin<\/b>), next to the Cardiff Castle<\/b> seen on the left side of the photo.<\/p>\n

It may look like they are still coming, but that\u2019s because they\u2019re going to the Cardiff Castle for a festival, so they\u2019ll need to queue for entry. Others would simply just mill about, or others would simply go somewhere else.<\/p>\n

When I got there, I still have to do some more photography shoots, there\u2019s always a chance that there would be something interesting happening.<\/p>\n

It was shot in colour, I converted it into black and white during Adobe Lightroom.<\/b><\/p>\n

\nAbout the event.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Pride Cymru was previously called Cardiff Mardi Gras<\/b> when it was formed in September 1999. It held annual festival in Bute Park.<\/b> It became a registered charity in 2010, and starting from 2012, they held a parade through the city centre.<\/p>\n

In 2014, Cardiff Mardi Gras was renamed to Pride Cymru, and had operated under the new name ever since the change of name.<\/p>\n

Pride Cymru is in reality a weekend event, often called Pride Cymru Big Weekend,<\/b> and attracts up to 50,000 people over the three days, with Saturdays having the parade through the city centre.<\/p>\n

The route for the parade is approximately about more or less one mile in length, and would take anyone approximately up to an hour to complete the route.<\/p>\n

Because I was doing photojournalism, trying to find interesting shots, therefore I often sometimes walk back and forth, up and down the parade, so it would take me about a couple<\/a> of hours to do the photo-shoot.<\/p>\n

That day was a very hot and strong sunny day, and I some sunburn.<\/p>\n
