Katy Perry\u2019s New Single \u2018Bon Appetit\u2019 Comes with a Side of Homophobic Controversy: LISTEN<\/b><\/p>\n

Katy Perry eleased the sexual food single \u201cBon Appetit\u201d last night but some fans aren\u2019t happy that she collaborated with Migos, who have been in the headlines lately for remarks they made about a gay<\/a> rapper.<\/p>\n

Migos, the Atlanta-based hip-hop trio that raced up the charts with the hit\u00a0single \u201cBad and Boujee\u201d<\/a>\u00a0and released the Calvin Harris- Frank Ocean collaboration \u201cSlide\u201d<\/a> this month, had a strong\u00a0reaction\u00a0when asked about iLoveMakonnen, the hip-hop artist who came out of the closet<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n

The group made its remarks in an interview<\/a> with Rolling Stone<\/em>, suggesting that Makonnen\u2019s sexual orientation undermines his credibility<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Migos later told TMZ their remarks were twisted by the publication, and that they would be open to playing a gay<\/a> club\u2026if the club paid up.<\/p>\n

They also released this statement on Twitter.<\/p>\n
