Still shilling her new book to anyone who\u2019ll listen, Caitlyn Jenner<\/a> has said she doesn\u2019t regret her decision to vote for Donald Trump despite his record on LGBT rights.<\/span><\/p>\n During the election campaign, Jenner first supported <\/span>Ted Cruz<\/b><\/a>, blasted Hillary Clinton as a <\/span>\u201cf**king liar\u201d<\/b><\/a>, and pulled a <\/span>bathroom stunt at Trump Tower<\/b><\/a> in an attempt to show how LGBT-inclusive Trump really is.<\/span><\/p>\n Last week, <\/span>she said she <\/span>no longer supports<\/b><\/a> Trump. Except she does. Today.<\/span><\/p>\n In a <\/span>CNN interview<\/b><\/a> with Don Lemon on Tuesday, Jenner said:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs far as LGBT issues, yes, he\u2019s made some mistakes. I don\u2019t support him in everything that he does. But we needed to shake the system up.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She added that she still believes Trump is the man<\/a> \u201cwe need to turn this country around,\u201d for better or worse.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cTo, you know, to have career politicians constantly, the Clintons, the Bushes, run this country,\u201d she said, \u201cwe need to get outside that box and shake things up again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n She added that she felt obligated to broach the topic of being transgender in her new memoir to educate the public.<\/p>\n \u201cI was no more a woman<\/a> the day before I had the surgery than I was the day after I had the surgery. It\u2019s just the public\u2019s perception is, they think that\u2019s what it\u2019s all about, but it\u2019s not about that.
