<\/a><\/p>\nAiming to raise awareness of sexual assault, Zeke Thomas<\/a>, the son of NBA star Isiah Thomas has revealed that he has been raped on two occasions.<\/span><\/p>\n DJ and producer Thomas said he was first raped at just 12 years old and again last year.<\/span><\/p>\n Said Thomas in an interview that aired yesterday on <\/span>Good Morning America<\/span><\/a><\/em>:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAt first I didn\u2019t realize what had happened, what had transpired. I knew that it was wrong, I knew that I did not want it. I did not seek it out. I hadn\u2019t let my family know until much later that this had happened.\u00a0<\/span>It was definitely hard for them to hear, and even more hard for them to hear that it happened again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Thomas added that he was \u201cterrified\u201d when he was raped again last year and felt \u201cthat my manhood had been taken from me.\u201d He explained that he did not press charges in either case because he \u201cjust wasn\u2019t ready\u201d and did not want to be labeled a \u201cvictim.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n However, he added that if he could go back he would undoubtedly report the assailant.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Thomas told New York<\/em> magazine about the horrific second experience<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cWe had chatted on Grindr, and I had invited him to come by my studio since he was a singer,\u201d he says. \u201cNothing against Grindr. I\u2019ve met great people on Grindr, I\u2019ve had sex<\/a> with great people on Grindr. I can\u2019t blame an app. But you don\u2019t know shit about people you meet on it.\u201d In any case, they\u2019d not hooked up right away. \u201cHe seemed like a great guy<\/a>. We hung out at the recording studio. And then a couple<\/a> of days later he said, let\u2019s go to Boys Town,\u201d the gayborhood in Chicago, \u201cfor a drink.\u201d<\/p>\n He felt safe there: He\u2019d had DJ gigs there. He knew bartenders. But by the time he realized something was wrong it was too late. \u201cAll I remember is \u2026 getting in the cab. I know that I got drugged. I knew probably the moment that it happened because something didn\u2019t taste right. But I didn\u2019t think about it. I just didn\u2019t think about it.\u201d The next thing he knew it was the next morning. \u201cIt was literally like with Bill Cosby. When those women<\/a> were like: \u2018I woke up and he was fixing me breakfast or whatever.\u2019\u201d He pauses for a while, and then continues, quietly. \u201cI woke up and he was handing me a glass of water and saying, \u2018That was great let\u2019s hang out again.\u2019\u201d He noticed that his dog was shut outside on his balcony, barking. And the guy<\/a> leaves.<\/p>\n \u201cMy ass<\/a> was destroyed. Destroyed. I\u2019m bleeding,\u201d Thomas recalls. \u201cAnd I\u2019m just like \u2014 terrified. I can\u2019t move. I didn\u2019t move from my apartment for two days. I didn\u2019t move. I didn\u2019t talk to anybody.
