\u201cChained to the Rhythm\u201d singer Katy Perry is chained to Satan\u00a0according to former GOP lawmaker and Navy chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt.<\/p>\n
Klingenschmitt, a well-known anti-gay<\/a> activist, was reacting to a speech Perry gave at a Human Rights Campaign gala in March where she spoke about her religious upbringing<\/a>, and her shock at meeting gay<\/a> people for the first time and discovering they were not the people her parents had taught her to fear.<\/p>\n Right Wing Watch reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cIf you had been sincere in your prayers at the Jesus camps, you would have prayed against sin and the devil,\u201d Klingenschmitt said on a recent episode<\/a> of his \u201cPray In Jesus Name\u201d program. \u201cYou would have repented of your sin and invited Jesus to rule your heart.
