This just in: Donald J. Trump claims he can predict major world events either before or after they do or do not happen.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

In an absolutely insane interview<\/a> with Time<\/a><\/i>,\u00a0Trump was asked about all the false claims he\u2019s made on Twitter, in interviews, in speeches, and during press conferences.\n<\/p>\n

His response?\n<\/p>\n

Not\u00a0everything<\/em> has been false. In fact, some of the things he said that were false at the time became true eventually.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI predicted a lot of things, Michael,\u201d Trump said. \u201cSome things that came to you a little bit later\u00a0\u2026 What am I going to tell you? I tend to be right. I\u2019m an instinctual person, I happen to be a person that knows how life works.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a brief\u00a0look at some of the things Trump claims to have\u00a0\u201cpredicted\u201d in the interview, shall we?\n<\/p>\n

First, he says he predicted\u00a0the non-existent terrorist attack in Sweden:\n<\/p>\n

Sweden. I make the statement, everyone goes crazy. The next day they have a massive riot and death and problems.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

(For the record, a few days after Trump\u2019s comment there was a small riot, but nobody died.)\n<\/p>\n

He also says he predicted the FBI would find some sort of scandal involving Huma Abdein, Anthony Weiner, and Hillary Clinton<\/a>:\n<\/p>\n

\n

Huma and Anthony, you know, what I tweeted about that whole deal, and then it turned out he had it, all of Hillary\u2019s email, on his thing.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

(By \u201chis thing,\u201d we believe Trump is referring to Weiner\u2019s laptop.)\n<\/p>\n

Oh, and he says he predicted the\u00a0U.K.\u2019s withdrawal from the European Union:\n<\/p>\n

\n

Brexit. I was totally right about that! You were over there, I think, when I predicted that, right?\u00a0The day before. \u2026\u00a0Brexit! I predicted Brexit! You remember that? The day before the event. I said, \u201cNo, Brexit is going to happen,\u201d and everybody laughed, and Brexit happened. Many many things. They turn out to be right.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Also, the terrorist attack in Brussels:\n<\/p>\n

Brussels, I said, Brussels is not Brussels. \u2026\u00a0Brussels is not what it used to be, very sad what has happened to Brussels. I was absolutely lambasted. A short time later they had the major attack in Brussels. One year ago today. Exactly one year ago today. And then people said, you know, Trump was right. What am I going to tell you? I tend to be right!\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As well as Bernie Sanders\u2019 defeat in the primaries:\n<\/p>\n

What I said. Look I said, Donna Brazile had information. And she had information on Hillary\u2019s debate questions! I said, \u201cWhy didn\u2019t Hillary apologize?\u201d Donna Brazile just admitted that that was right. I said the election was rigged against Bernie. A lot of people agree with that one. A lot of people hated the statement when I made it.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And what about those three million undocumented immigrants he claims voted in the 2016 election?\n<\/p>\n

\n

Well, I think I will be proved right about that, too. \u2026\u00a0I have people say it was more than that. We will see after we have. But there will be. We are forming a committee. And we are going to do a study on it. A very serious problem.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

(For the record:\u00a0There is zero evidence of widespread illegal voting in the election.)\n<\/p>\n

He also says he predicted he would win the election:\n<\/p>\n

\n

I said I was going to win the election. I won the election! In fact, I was number one the entire route, in the primaries, from the day I announced, I was number one. And the New York\u00a0<\/em>Times<\/em> and CNN and all of them, they did these polls, which were extremely bad, and they turned out to be totally wrong. And my polls showed I was going to win. We thought we were going to win the night of the election.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

(To be clear, Trump wasn\u2019t exactly \u201cnumber one\u201d the \u201centire route.\u201d He received 3 million\u00a0less<\/em> votes than Clinton in the popular vote.)\n<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s final prediction? That he\u2019s going to be on the cover of Time<\/em> magazine more times than Richard Nixon was during his presidency:\n<\/p>\n

\n

I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll win. \u2026 Time<\/em>\u00a0magazine, which treats me horribly, but obviously I sell\u2026 Covers. Nobody\u2019s had more covers.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the story,\u201d Trump said, before abruptly ending the interview. \u201cHey look, in the mean time, I guess, I can\u2019t be doing so badly, because I\u2019m president, and you\u2019re not. You know. Say hello to everybody, OK?\u201d\n<\/p>\n
