Seth Meyers tried to pull together the insane number of events over the past 36 hours in his latest A Closer Look<\/em>, noting that Trump is looking for any shred of good news these days.<\/p>\n Trump apparently just found out that Abraham Lincoln was Republican because he wants a Super PAC to take out an ad to let people know that Lincoln was a Republican.<\/p>\n Trump has had his wiretapping lie hanging over his head and members of his own party have been begging for the president to say \u2018I\u2019m sorry\u2019\u00a0so they can move on to more important things like the SCOTUS nomination.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t even think his mouth can make those wordsl \u2018I\u2019m so- I\u2019m so- I\u2019m so right\u201d joked\u00a0Meyers.<\/p>\n And Trump surrogate Jeffrey Lorde is making excuses for Trump, saying people\u00a0don\u2019t understand him because they don\u2019t speak \u2018Americanese\u2019<\/p>\n Quipped Meyers. \u201cThat\u2019s right. Americanese.
