For years, gay<\/a> men<\/a> have tried\u00a0cracking the code for\u00a0how to\u00a0determine whether someone is a top or\u00a0a bottom. Some have suggested climate plays a role<\/a> in a person\u2019s preferred position. Others say it has to do with how a guy dances<\/a>. And others say\u00a0it can be figured out by observing a man<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0facial cues and bone structure.<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, U.K. photographer and creative designer\u00a0William Baker is saying\u00a0enough is enough! He is so over this preoccupation with who is the top and who is the bottom, particularly when it comes to dating apps.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just have this thing about labels, I just think they\u2019re so bad,\u201d Baker tells The Gay UK<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s like this whole top and bottom thing\u2013who the f*ck?\u2013it drives me mad!\u201d<\/p>\n

Baker goes on to say that when it comes to dating and\u00a0sexual role preference, which partner is\u00a0penetrated or\u00a0and which does the penetrating\u00a0\u201csurely just depends\u201d on the situation and the people involved.<\/p>\n

Baker, who is BFFs with Kylie Minogue, is currently promoting his new coffee table book,\u00a0Book of Igor<\/a>, <\/em>which\u00a0features images of 20-year-old Latvian\u00a0model\u00a0Igor Stepanov taken over the course of 18 months and explores the beauty of youth. He says he would much rather talk about that<\/em> than random guys<\/a>\u2019 preferred sexual positions.<\/p>\n
