Kathy Griffin joined Chris Matthews on Hardball<\/em> and had a few less swooning thoughts about Trump\u2019s speech to Congress.<\/p>\n Said Griffin:<\/p>\n \u201cWhat an idiot. We gotta watch this idiot for an hour and nine minutes? He just says one hateful thing after\u00a0the other. He\u2019s so embarrassing. Just from the beginning, you know, Melania comes in with the sequin jacket and all the white guys<\/a> are like \u2018hey she\u2019s hot, maybe if I\u2019m like him I could get her.\u2019 The whole sham from the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking seriously about her time with working with Trumps, Griffin didn\u2019t feel the same as Van Jones did about Trump\u2019s moment addressing the widow of William \u201cRyan\u201d Owens:<\/p>\n \u201cI thought that moment of pointing out the widow it was exploiting her grief a little bit. As you know those ceremonies are very, very serious. And I feel like this is a president who doesn\u2019t take anything seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n Griffin also had something to say about Trump\u2019s wall:<\/p>\n \u201cWe actually would like to keep the Mexicans. I would like to stand on the wall and throw Mexicans into the United States if I could.\u201d<\/p>\n She added:<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m a big resister and I don\u2019t believe in compromise with this president. I also think he\u2019s crazy, I think he\u2019s mentally ill. He\u2019s also an idiot.\u201d<\/p>\n Griffin then brought up the 25th amendment, which reads:<\/p>\n Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.<\/p>\n Finally, Griffin concluded:<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t act like he doesn\u2019t say crazy stuff.
