Is it possible to become addicted to threesomes? According to blogger Aaron Little, the answer is yes. And he\u2019s living to tell about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cStudies show that gay<\/a> men<\/a> tend to bring a third into the bedroom at some point in their relationship,\u201d Little writes in a new op-ed<\/a>. \u201cIt can be healthy for some, as it eliminates the need for infidelity, but in others, it can be their demise.\u201d<\/p>\n

For him and his boyfriend, it proved to be the later.<\/p>\n

Little writes that he and his boyfriend decided to try the whole threesome thing in an effort to spice things up and possibly strengthen their\u00a0ties.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe continued to invite guys<\/a> over to our house, or we would go to their apartment,\u201d he says. \u201cSometimes the sex<\/a> was great, other times he just wished we could take back the last hour and a half of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

After several mediocre threesomes, Little says he and his boyfriend hit \u201crock bottom\u201d when they flew to Melbourne for a\u00a0holiday weekend and \u201cdecided to just stay in the room and [have sex] all weekend\u2013we did six guys<\/a> in a period of 72 hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sounds exhausting!<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was so bad,\u201d Little\u00a0continues. \u201cWe were both on Grindr finding the next guy<\/a> 20 minutes after the last one left. We even had the bartender downstairs in the hotel bar leaving bottles of wine and champagne at our door.\u201d<\/p>\n

But it didn\u2019t stop there. Because after the holiday was over, the guys<\/a> returned home only to continue having nonstop threesomes, which were followed by arguments, which were followed by more threesomes, which were followed by more arguments. It became a vicious cycle.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a lot of issues that stemmed from these random threesomes,\u201d Little writes. \u201cI was always extremely jealous, and some of the guys<\/a> we had brought into our bedroom had been a terrible mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eventually, his boyfriend moved out of their shared apartment and Little feared their relationship was done for. Luckily, they were able to\u00a0patch\u00a0things up\u00a0eventually.<\/p>\n

\u201cNine months and three threesomes later, my partner has moved home, and our relationship is stable and secure once again,\u201d Little explains. \u201cWhat we had gone through was all part of our journey, and I hope I never have to go through this again.\u201d<\/p>\n
