<\/a><\/p>\nMinnesota Governor Mark Dayton was delivering his \u2018State of the State\u2019 speech on Monday night when he began to slur his words and collapsed. The meeting was adjourned.<\/p>\n
CNN reports that he will make the address again this morning at 11:15 am CT.<\/a><\/p>\n He briefly resumed speaking \u2014 touting the success of the Affordable Care Act and MNSure, the state\u2019s health care marketplace \u2014 before he slumped onto the lectern. Video of the State of the State speech shows aides rushing to catch Dayton as he sinks toward the floor.<\/p>\n \u2026Patrick Kessler, a reporter for CNN affiliate WCCO, tweeted that Dayton was conscious and \u201cjoking with paramedics.\u201dDayton \u201cquickly recovered, walked out of the Capitol and returned home\u201d to spend time with his son and grandson, Tincher said.<\/p>\n I’m with my dad now and he’s doing great.
