CNN reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s false,\u201d Natalie Ravitz, senior vice president of communications for the NFL told CNN. \u201cThis is unsourced nonsense from people trying to stir up controversy where there is none. The Super Bowl is a time when people really come together. Lady Gaga is focused on putting together an amazing show for fans and we love working with her on it; we aren\u2019t going to be distracted by this.\u201d<\/p>\n Representatives for Lady Gaga confirmed the NFL\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n Entertainment Tonight<\/em> had reported on the alleged gag order<\/a>:<\/p>\n A source close to the halftime show tells ET, \u201cLady Gaga was told by the NFL that she cannot say anything or bring anything up about the election, or mention Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n ET adds<\/a>:<\/p>\n As for a report<\/a> that Gaga is plotting a potentially dangerous performance, aiming to sing from the roof of Houston\u2019s NRG Stadium, ET\u2019s source says that speculation about cutting a hole in the roof are inaccurate.<\/p>\n \u201cThe roof at NRG Stadium is retractable,\u201d they said, \u201cso I\u2019m not sure why they would need to cut a hole in the roof.\u201d<\/p>\n Regarding the rumors, a representative for the NFL said: \u201cPeople will have to wait and see what we have in store \u2013 we never comment on speculation about the show because there is so much misinformation that surfaces.
