Colton Haynes Publicly Responds To Being Called \u201cThe Worst\u201d By Noah Galvin<\/b><\/p>\n

After being dragged through the mud<\/a> by 22-year-old Real O’Neals<\/em> star Noah Galvin, it’s only natural Colton Haynes has something to say.<\/p>\n

In case you missed it, Galvin gave an interview with Vulture<\/em><\/a> in which he had this to say about Haynes’ coming out process:<\/p>\n

“That’s not coming out. That’s fucking<\/a> pussy<\/a> bullshit. That’s like, enough people assume that I sleep with men<\/a>, so I’m just going to slightly confirm the fact that I’ve sucked a dick<\/a> or two. That’s not doing anything for the little gays<\/a> but giving them more masturbation material.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Last month, Haynes gave an interview to Entertainment Weekly<\/em><\/a> in which he discussed the hubbub surrounding his sexuality.<\/p>\n

EW <\/em>wrote:<\/p>\n

“It was a complete shock. I wasn’t ready to be back in the headlines,” Haynes, who is in fact gay<\/a> but has never publicly addressed his sexuality (and, like many others on his path, took advice early in his career to subdue it). “I should have made a comment or a statement, but I just wasn’t ready. I didn’t feel like I owed anyone anything. I think in due time, everyone has to make those decisions when they’re ready, and I wasn’t yet. But I felt like I was letting people down by not coming forward with the rest of what I should have said.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Was it the most “hey look at me!” coming out? Nope.<\/p>\n

Could it have happened sooner? Sure, it was a fairly well-known “secret.” But we think the important thing is Haynes got there eventually.<\/p>\n

That clearly wasn’t enough to satisfy the young Real O’Neals<\/em> actor.<\/p>\n

To Haynes’ credit, he took the high road when he responded to Galvin via Instagram:<\/p>\n
