Kim Davis is again playing the victim card when it comes to her willful flouting of the Supreme Court’s ruling on gay<\/a> marriage last year.<\/p>\n

Kim has repeatedly claimed that she was the real victim when she denied and degraded a gay<\/a> couple<\/a> seeking a marriage license after the Supreme Court struck down gay<\/a> marriage bans nationwide.<\/p>\n

As Right Wing Watch notes,<\/a> Davis says in a new interview that the gay<\/a> couple<\/a> she denied wanted to “shove” the Supreme Court’s ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges<\/em> down her throat and make her eat it for dinner.<\/p>\n

Said Davis,<\/p>\n

“I was obeying my law. I had couples<\/a> bring in the whole Supreme Court ruling and I said, ‘You know, I really don’t need to see this because that’s not a law, that’s a ruling’ [and they’d say] ‘Well, why won’t you do this?’ And so then I go to the Bible and I’d tell them, [and they’d respond,] ‘Don’t be reading me the Bible.’ Well, you asked why I couldn’t issue you a marriage license and I’m explaining to you, I’m showing you why I cannot. They didn’t want to hear that though. They wanted to shove that paper down my throat and make me eat it for my dinner.”<\/p>\n
