Later this month,  Music Business Association <\/a>will host a special session at its annual Music Biz conference entitled “Accelerating Acceptance: Music and the Importance of LGBT Fans,” presented by GLAAD and Nielsen Music. GLAAD’ s Vice President of Programs Zeke Stokes will appear alongside Nielsen Music’s Matthew Yazge for the session in Nashville on May 17 at 1:30pm<\/a> to provide insights on the cultural acceptance gap for LGBT people and how the music industry can play role in creating a more inclusive society by recognizing the impact they have when engaging with their music fans on these pressing issues.<\/p>\n

Featuring more than 200 speakers from all facets of the industry, Music Biz provides a unique opportunity for everyone, regardless of age or experience, to meet, mingle, and share ideas on how best to bring the music business into the future.<\/p>\n
