The 73rd Annual Golden Globes aired tonight and several LGBT stars, characters, and inclusive stories took home awards.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Amazon original series Mozart in the Jungle<\/em> took home the award in Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. The series follows the members of the New York Symphony, including bisexual<\/a> cellist Cynthia (Saffron Burrows) who in the second season becomes involved with a union lawyer, Nina, who is helping the symphony negotiate new contracts. USA’s LGBT-inclusive freshman series Mr. Robot<\/em> won the Golden Globe in Best Television Series – Drama. Bisexual singer and actress Lady Gaga picked up the award in Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her work as The Countess in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Hotel<\/em>. Out singer Sam Smith picked up the award in Best Original Song – Motion Picture for his song “Writing’s On the Wall” from the new James Bond film Spectre<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
