For more LGBT Wellness visit our page dedicated to the topic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/news\/lgbt-wellness\/\" target=\"_hplink\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hotter People Have Better Sex Lives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Science found out what most of us already know: hotter people have better <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/couples\/?mp_code=akftr\">sex<\/a> lives. <a href=\"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/ijop.12225\/abstract\" target=\"_blank\">A study<\/a> of LGB (no T) individuals found that people who thought they were more sexually attractive had more sexual partners, better self-esteem, more <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/couples\/?mp_code=akftr\">sex<\/a> and when they had <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/couples\/?mp_code=akftr\">sex<\/a> enjoyed it more.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Feds: No Research Supports Conversion Therapy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This week SMHSA, a federal agency, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/entry\/samhsa-conversion-therapy_561fb2eee4b050c6c4a47482\" target=\"_blank\">released<\/a> a <a href=\"http:\/\/store.samhsa.gov\/product\/Ending-Conversion-Therapy-Supporting-and-Affirming-LGBTQ-Youth\/All-New-Products\/SMA15-4928\" target=\"_blank\">groundbreaking report<\/a> calling for the end to conversation therapy, a practice they say is harmful and has no scientific backing. Thanks to SAMHSA for going public on this point.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Aydian Dowling Doesn&#8217;t Win Men&#8217;s Health Cover<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The winner of the Men&#8217;s Health &#8220;Ultimate Guy&#8221; cover contest was announced and, sadly, transgender fitness enthusiast and model Aydian Dowling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.co.uk\/news\/12054\/aydian-dowling-runner-mens-health-cover-competition\/\" target=\"_blank\">didn&#8217;t win<\/a> the top spot. Aydian was a fan favorite and would have been the first transgender <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=R2Xc&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">man<\/a> to grace the cover of Men&#8217;s Health. Still, congratulations to him on his amazing effort.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Breast Cancer Research Lacking For Transgender Individuals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We know it&#8217;s Breast Cancer Awareness Month from all of the pink ribbons popping up everywhere. While public support has never been higher, there is still a huge <a href=\"http:\/\/goqnotes.com\/37781\/breast-cancer-awareness-despite-years-of-breast-cancer-research-questions-remain-for-transgender-men-women\/\" target=\"_blank\">gap in research<\/a> for breast cancer in transgender people. And in case it hasn&#8217;t yet been said&#8230; pink may not fit all of us.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Circumcision Doesn&#8217;t Affect STI Likelihood<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Good news! Circumcision probably doesn&#8217;t affect STIs. A <a href=\"http:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007%2Fs10461-015-1212-x\" target=\"_blank\">new study<\/a> found no difference in overall STI rates between circumcised and uncircumcised young black MSM.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Electronic Health Records To Allow LGBT Status<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Hallelujah to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for releasing a new rule that soon vendors developing electronic health record systems must allow providers to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthit.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/factsheet_draft_2015-10-06.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">record information on sexual orientation and gender identity<\/a>. As just one example of what this might affect?
