\"miley_papermagazine_10\"<\/a>Unless you’ve had your head deep in the sand the past few years, you already know that Miley Cyrus<\/a> is a precious entertainer who dances to the beat of her own drum. The pop superstar has posed nude<\/a> for a provocative photo shoot (sometimes covered in body paint, sometimes with a candy phallus dangling from her crotch, and in one pic she embraces a pig) for Paper<\/em> magazine<\/a> who describes her as “perhaps her generation’s most unlikely social activist, and also one of its most powerful.” It’s hard to argue with this assessment, for Cyrus doesn’t hold back in the interview, revealing again that she doesn’t discriminate when it comes to sexual partners and made up her mind about her sexual fluidity when she was a young teen<\/a>. Now 22, the singer has founded a non-profit, The Happy Hippies<\/a>, to raise funds and awareness for homeless and LGBT youth. Partly inspired by the death last year of Leelah Alcorn<\/a>, a transgender girl<\/a> who committed suicide after being forced to undergo so-called “conversion therapy.” Cyrus is refreshingly and unsurprisingly candid in the interview. “We can’t keep noticing these kids too late,” she tells Paper<\/em>.<\/p>\n

We learn Miley is a roll-with-the-flow kinda girl<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don’t relate to being boy<\/a> or girl<\/a>, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy<\/a> or girl<\/a>.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She was just 14 when she told her mother that she was attracted to both males<\/a> and females<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I remember telling her I admire women<\/a> in a different way. And she asked me what that meant. And I said, I love them. I love them like I love boys<\/a>. And it was so hard for her to understand. She didn’t want me to be judged and she didn’t want me to go to hell. But she believes in me more than she believes in any god. I just asked for her to accept me. And she has.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
