Angry ghosts keep me company
\nEyes are closed but I’m awake
\nAnd I can’t sleep deeply
\nUnless I’ve been drinking
\nEnough to drown out what they say<\/p>\n

And what they say is more than I can take
\nOh, what a warped way to learn from my mistakes<\/p>\n

There are patterns in the static
\nNoises in my attic
\nVoices in my head keep me awake
\nI’m on the brink of madness
\nAnd I can’t help but laugh at this

Nobody gets away with anything
\nAll must bear the balance sheet
\nSo I befriend the voices
\nThey’ve taught me some songs I guess
