Granade late on Sunday placed a 14-day stay on her Friday ruling striking down the state&#8217;s <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=R2Xc&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">gay<\/a> marriage ban, just hours before it went into effect, <a href=\"http:\/\/wiat.com\/2015\/01\/25\/federal-judge-puts-hold-on-same-sex-marriage-ruling-in-alabama\/\" target=\"_self\">WIAT reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/towleroad.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c730253ef01b8d0c840a9970c-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Strange\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/towleroad.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c730253ef01b8d0c840a9970c-800wi\" title=\"Strange\"><\/a>The court&rsquo;s ruling states that Attorney General Luther Strange (pictured) has not shown enough cause for an indefinite stay, but is allowing the Attorney General time to present his arguments to the Eleventh Circuit Court.<\/p>\n<p>If the Eleventh Circuit Court fails to act during the 14-day delay, the order will be lifted February 9th.<\/p>\n<p>The order to stay the ruling comes amid protest from the Alabama Probate Judges Association over the ruling.
