The tweet sent out by Pioneer Press, however, was somewhat more vague about what exactly Rodgers&#8217; lucky charm might be. <a href=\"http:\/\/deadspin.com\/newspaper-tweets-deletes-perfectly-good-aaron-rodgers-1676580845?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+deadspin%2Ffull+%28Deadspin%29\" target=\"_self\">As Deadspin reports<\/a>, the tweet read,&nbsp;&#8220;It&#8217;s red and 9 inches long, and #Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers tugs it for good luck.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/towleroad.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c730253ef01bb07cf3d12970d-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Zlmyhcmkyrpneerepd2t\" src=\"http:\/\/towleroad.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c730253ef01bb07cf3d12970d-500wi\" title=\"Zlmyhcmkyrpneerepd2t\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Apparently, the joke was too much for some to handle. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twincities.com\/sports\/ci_27227909\/aaron-rodgers-good-luck-beard-belongs-sideline-technician\" target=\"_self\">In Pioneer Press&#8217; piece on the beard in question<\/a>, owned by a communications technician named Jeremy Wilcox, Wilcox describes his and Rodgers&#8217; pre-game ritual as&nbsp;&#8220;just <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=R2Xc&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">guys<\/a> having fun.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote lang=\"en\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/romenesko\">@romenesko<\/a> turns out, this would have worked better with a picture of the beard<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Pioneer Press (@PioneerPress) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PioneerPress\/status\/549982998989254657\">December 30, 2014<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You&#8217;ll recall that last year Rodgers chose to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.towleroad.com\/2013\/12\/green-bay-packers-quarterback-aaron-rodgers-allegedly-outed-by-ex-boyfriend.html\" target=\"_self\">address rumors that he is gay<\/a>.
