Gender-fluid fashion has become a staple on red carpets thanks to daring looks from the likes of Billy Porter and Jonathan Van Ness, but Wendy Williams apparently wants it to stop.<\/p>\n

The talk show host has come under fire (once again) for one of her patented hot takes, this time opposing the trend of men<\/a> exploring traditionally female<\/a> styles.<\/p>\n

Speaking to her audience about ‘Galentine’s Day’, the Valentine’s alternative from Parks & Recreation<\/em> where a group of women<\/a> celebrates one another’s friendship instead of romantic pairings, Williams went a bit off-topic when men<\/a> applauded.<\/p>\n

“If you’re a man<\/a> and you’re clapping, you’re not even a part of this. You don’t understand the rules of the day. It’s women<\/a> going out and getting saucy and then going home. You’re not a part,” she said.<\/p>\n

“I don’t care if you’re gay<\/a>. You don’t get a [menstruation] every 28 days,” Williams continued. “You can do a lot that we do, but I get offended by the idea that we go through something you will never go through.”<\/p>\n

“And stop wearing our skirts and our heels,” she added. “Just saying, girls<\/a>, what do we have for ourselves?”<\/p>\n

“Looky here now, gay<\/a> men<\/a>, you’ll never be the women<\/a> that we are,” Williams said. “No matter how gay<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

The comments were met with immediate criticism:<\/p>\n
