Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and all Senators have a duty to ensure this trial is conducted with full transparency and includes all witnesses and presentation of other evidence necessary to undercover the truth. The American people deserve leaders who uphold the rule of law, and that includes the president of the United States.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, the House voted to transmit the two articles of impeachment against Donald Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the Human Rights Campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrc.org\/blog\/hrc-supports-the-impeachment-of-president-donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced<\/a> its support for the formal impeachment of Donald Trump.
