A rising gay<\/a> rapper has been shot and wounded in a drive-by shooting near Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n

NBC6<\/a> in Miami reports that Saucy Santana was one of three people in the car who were caught up in the incident in the early hours of Wednesday morning. It took place on the Interstate 95 entrance ramp at around 4am.<\/p>\n

Santana and two male<\/a> friends were in a Honda sedan. A white Chevy sedan pulled up alongside it and at least six shots were fired, according to police.<\/p>\n

All three of the occupants were hit: Santana and another man<\/a> in the arm, and the third passenger in the hand.<\/p>\n

Santana told NBC6, \u201cI\u2019m lucky and blessed to be alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

The three victims had just left The Office Gentlemen\u2019s Club. Santana was in the area scouting for video<\/a> locations, and said, \u201cGlass started breaking. Everything was such a shock, such a rush, I just remember me hopping up, trying to jump in the backseat.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Santana, originally from Tallahassee, speculates he could have been targeted because of the \u201ctype of artist\u201d he is.<\/p>\n

Florida Highway Patrol told NBC6 they are investigating whether an altercation at the club had led to the shooting. However, Saucy Santana says nothing out of the ordinary had happened at the venue. No arrests have yet been made.<\/p>\n

Saucy Santana recently told Genius<\/a> that he only started rapping in February. A podcast he worked on needed some intro music, and Santana recorded a rap, which was well-received online.<\/p>\n

Debut track \u201cWalk Em Like A Dog\u201d was released in September and Santana began to amass a social media following. The track has had over 3million views on YouTube and Santana has almost half a million followers on Instagram.<\/p>\n

A second track, \u201cMaterial Girl\u201d went online last month.<\/p>\n
