Woman Claiming To Be Michael Phelps\u2019 Intersex Lover Says She Can\u2019t Stop Vomiting Over Media\u2019s Coverage Of Her<\/b><\/p>\n

\"485543_711712768905152_1859259188168904945_n\"<\/a>A woman<\/a> claiming to be Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps’ intersex lover says the media’s portrayal of her has caused her to cry for hours and throw up “everything in her system.”<\/p>\n

“I was born intersex and named David Roy Fitch at birth,” 41-year-old Taylor Lianne Chandler (pictured) announced on her “official” Facebook page<\/a> earlier this week. “But the time I could walk and talk I made it clear I was a girl<\/a> and dressed as one. In my early teens<\/a> I was medically diagnosed and went on testosterone blockers, at 15 estrogen enhancers. My birth certificate was modified along with my name while I was a teenager, prior to any corrective surgery.”<\/p>\n

According to Chandler, she and Phelps initially connected on Tinder back in September. She says she did not tell him about having transitioned before they hooked up together.<\/p>\n

“One thing led to the next,” she said, “and we made love during halftime. Later, we had sex<\/a> again. The intimacy with him was amazing! It was the first time in my life that someone has made me feel like a true woman<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Since going public with her story, Chandler has made headlines around the world, and she hasn’t been humble about sharing the articles written about her. A quick scroll through her Facebook page displays an endless stream of tabloid stories and other write-ups about her alleged fling with Phelps.<\/p>\n

Some of the stories, however, have not been so kind.<\/p>\n

Chandler says she’s appalled by the way some media outlets are covering the story, particularly their incorrect use of male<\/a> pronouns. Being referred to as a man<\/a>, she claims, has caused her to vomit uncontrollably.<\/p>\n

“In a world of educated people that had all the facts of intersex and what it means and then to sell a magazine say [sic] Michael Phelps is dating a MAN,” she said. “I have cried now for an hour, thrown up anything in my system till I dry heaved. I just can’t believe this is happening in 2014!”<\/p>\n

She continued: “I am Taylor Lianne Chandler; I have always been a female<\/a> regardless of labels and personal opinions. I am not transsexual<\/a> and I have never identified with the moniker transgender, but intersex is certainly on the spectrum of gender along with them.”<\/p>\n

Phelps has yet to respond to the rumors.<\/p>\n
