R\u2019n\u2019b singer Tank has prompted much comment on social media after his appearance on the podcast Lip Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Promoting his new album, Elevation<\/em> (out Friday), the singer got into a discussion about honesty. Host Angela Lee was talking about men<\/a> who tell lies: If a man<\/a> lies twice, does that mean he is a liar?<\/p>\n

Tank says no, pointing out he\u2019s done construction work a couple<\/a> of times in the past but that doesn\u2019t make him a construction worker.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

The conversation starts around the 2.10 mark<\/a>\u00a0below.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The specific quotes were highlighted on social media.<\/p>\n

Tank replied: \u201cNo, here\u2019s the thing. Twice is excessive, but let\u2019s dig into it.<\/p>\n

He followed up the podcast by posting a video<\/a> to Instagram last night in which he addressed his comments.<\/p>\n
