Clutch Power

This is my newest LEGO creation, Clutch Power.

Rays of color and energy burst out from a raised minifigure hand, celebrating boundless creativity and power through diversity. The build has around 6,250 pieces and uses every color of quarter-circle tile that exists (except for metallic).

“Clutch Power” is a further exploration of the stacked LEGO mosaic technique I developed in “Rainbow Heart” from 2021, attempting more natural color blending. The technique uses quarter-circle tiles placed on top of a second grayscale mosaic underlayer to increase the resolution of a 1×1 stud. This better represents organic shapes and allows for more detail in a smaller mosaic than would be needed to achieve the same effect using only 1×1 studs.

Happy Pride Month, Crewmates!

This chapter is dedicated to celebrating the most delicious, fruity month of the year where the rainbow flags fly high and we let the world know that we’re not going anywhere!

That being said, I want to take a moment to announce that I will be taking an unexpected but necessary hiatus from The Captain and the Engineer for a little while. I have every intention on continuing the story but this will give me a chance to prepare for the upcoming chapters which are very involved.
I also want to make sure I don’t overwork myself too much and therefore will be taking some time for me and my mental health.
Thank you for your understanding and patience ahead of time!
