On the 20th of June I had the pleasure of being employed by the non-profit Q-Lit board to photograph their week-long festival of storytelling.
Q-Lit stands for queer literature and everything that encompasses. Originally catering for rural Victorian communities, Q-Lit now wants members from all of the country to make the events truly national.
The festival included panels, a book fair, workshops and lux events such as adult poetry, a night of research presentations, and a comedy night.
Here are some images from the book fair on the 21st of June at the Victorian Pride Centre in St Kilda, on the lands of the Bunurong people.
