I was so greatly inspired for this picture… and, in truth, I had such a hard time choosing between two different lightings. I snapped them both and still had a hard time choosing, but I ultimately went with this one because it felt more… ‘yesterday’.
I was inspired by .:.Pariah.:.’s Marmoreal Tattoos. She includes the skin lighteners (and darkeners) that are tintable. Corry and I layered up the lighteners until we were practically alabaster, then layered the black marble cracks over it to achieve this look, then added a wet sheen over top of it. Paired with the inspiring song, all I could picture was a forgotten garden in Greece where a state of two lovers still sits, entwined. Though time has forgotten them… they will never forget one another.
