Broadmead, Bristol, England, United Kingdom, on Saturday 26th April 2025.
About this photographs.
As the transgenders were marching towards the city centre in a protest against the Scottish Supreme Court ruling, they were going past a small group of people hanging around, playing music, and handing out leaflets and flyers.
That was happening on Broadmead, not very far from the junction with Union Street. This area is approximately between the Pret A Manger café and the Tesco Express mini supermarket.
This guy, like the woman in the other shot, was handing out leaflets seen in his left hand, and he was also dancing around like the woman in the other photo.
When he saw me taking photos, and he decided to pose with peace signs.
When the Scottish Supreme Court ruled that the definition of sex is sex at birth, many transgenders all around the United Kingdom staged protests against the ruling.
I heard that there was going to be one in Bristol, and decided to drive down there, to do some photojournalism of the protest. It stared outside the Bristol council offices, and then the protesters marched into city centre.
