I was back in Derby visiting Gemma for the weekend again at the end of July.
We only had one full day to do as we pleased so we got up quite early and went to a local(ish) beauty spot – Monsal Head where there is a viaduct. On the way we stopped in Belper to check out the river gardens and the amazing weir system – just incredible engineering!

Here’s a peekaboo! Many years ago in the early nineties my partner and I created a tiny hotel and spa. We renovated it from top to bottom and put in a day spa. It was called Elizabeth Court Hotel and Spa. We sold the property in 1999-2000 hello-Maury.tumblr.com
