The Pride doesn’t just happen in Sydney and Melbourne. Regional communities are more frequently holding marches and festivals to lift up and support marginalised voices.

Unfortunately not everyone embraces the LGBTQIA+SB community in Australia. Someone had very prominently displayed on the central fountain a cows tongue. We’re guessing is was a warning for us “queers” to get the eff out.

We have not achieved equality and this is why we march. Your solidarity and support on the streets is wonderful but we need you to continue to write to your local, state and federal governments demanding more action be taken, because “queers” aren’t going anywhere.
