In early 2020 the Stagecoach group announced a change of their company-wide livery away from “Beachball” (which dated back almost twenty years) and into a few different schemes – Local, Distance and Specialist.
These have been rolled out over the last four years, with “Local” naturally being applied to buses on local services, “Distance” onto those that work express inter-city / inter-urban style routes and “Specialist” is I believe intended for vehicles that work on schools, university, works services and the like.
As of August 2024, plenty of vehicles are still running around in the old Beachball colours but the group are seemingly moving away from the new schemes. Three buses at the moment (10661, 26087 and 84024) have been painted in an experimental new livery which covers the bus in a very dark blue with a large Stagecoach logo at the rear and an orange, blue and green strip on the front.
Reportedly the complexity with the Local livery was resulting in too much vehicle downtime and a challenge to match up any damaged panels with the right colours.
The Local livery doesn’t seem to have many fans online but I much prefer it to the Beachball scheme and find the new experimental colours to be pretty dull.
Stagecoach also have a fleet-wide Pride livery that adds a rainbow into the Local colours. 15976 is seen showing it off at Stroud Bus Rally a couple of months ago.
I did take a photo of the ALX400 in front in its Specialist livery but sadly that one came out very blurry and I didn’t realise it at the time!

And best of all my dearest darling hubby Xavier returned from Barcelona and he couldn’t wait to get his hands on me and take me upstairs to our boudour to make passionate love to me! I had waited for what seem ages to have this man inside me again despite having my dream date with Christian and the other clients from my escorting duties! 😛😛 💋 💋 💗💗
Here I am ready to leave with Xavier for a ‘dirty weekend’ in Amsterdam! He is whisking me off to Gatwick for our quick hop over the Channel on EasyJet and I thought my outfit would go down well for the journey! I am wearing hubby’s favorite attire with me in figure hugging blouse and a micro mini and of course the sheerest of nude shiny pantyhose to go with my gold heels! And just thinking of my followers I had to get Natalia to take a photo before we leave! 😛😛 💋 💋 💗💗
