Desroy is the main protagonist of the Yris Chronicles. He is the wielder of the mystical weapon known as the Hand of Yris. Desroy is a generally kind man who deeply cares for his family and husband Louis Lye. He’s also very sensitive and brilliant and is known for being subconsciously articulate. Sometimes, when put in a bad situation and he gets troubled, he will quickly get himself together because he doesn’t want anyone to notice his vulnerability. Although, at times, it doesn’t always work. He does not condone with anyone who tries to harm his friends and family and when something happens, his sadness will often be mixed with or quickly turn to anger and when he gets angry, all hell breaks loose. His compassion and willingness to help others in need, as well as his fighting spirit, are the highlighting factors that makes Desroy who he is.
