I adore pride month, every year it’s a reminder of how far the LGBT+ community has come, and how far I’ve come. I’m really glad I’m not a scared little boy anymore. Pride is just a wonderful time to be unabashedly ourselves 🙂

It’s New Year’s Eve, the writing says,
In nineteen-ninety-three.
I turn the photo over,
And shriek at what I see.

One guy who’s had a few too many
Carlsbergs at the bar,
Is posing in a mini skirt,
And tarty black lace bra!

He’s holding up the mini skirt,
To show briefs of hot pink lace,
And shiny scarlet lipstick

I’m still standing laughing,
