UK Soccer Player Gets Yellow Card for Kissing Opponent: VIDEO

UK Soccer Player Gets Yellow Card for Kissing Opponent: VIDEO

Mansell

Hoping to “defuse the situation” before it escalated further, Bristol Rovers midfielder Lee Mansell planted a kiss on the lips of opposing player J.J. O’Donnell during a confrontation last Friday.

Mansell was given a yellow card by the ref and by the looks of things O’Donnell probably didn’t give him his number after the game.

“Behind Closed Drawers” Awareness Campaign Doesn’t Want You To Get Anal Cancer

“Behind Closed Drawers” Awareness Campaign Doesn’t Want You To Get Anal Cancer

A new campaign called “Behind Closed Drawers” hopes to raise awareness to the issue of anal cancer among gay men.

“A growing number of physicians and health activists recommend that all men who have sex with men, especially those who are HIV-positive, be tested every one-to-three years depending on their immunological well-being and CD4 count,” organizers said in a statement. “They suggest that HIV negative individuals be tested every three years. This work is important, because most people know little about anal cancer, have never been tested for it, and don’t know that screening tests exist.”

The campaign, which was launched by the National LGBT Cancer Network and Tusk and Dagger, is currently working to create a directory of free and low-cost, LGBT-friendly anal cancer screening clinics across the country.

Organizers hope to raise funds by asking folks to text 41444 to “UNDIES” and make a donation. They are also encouraging people to spread the word via social media by posting photos of themselves in their underpants with the hashtag #BehindClosedDrawers.

An opportunity to raise awareness and take shameless selfies of ourselves in our undies for a good cause? Count us in.

Egyptian Men Involved in 'Gay Wedding' Video Receive One Year Prison Sentence Each

Egyptian Men Involved in 'Gay Wedding' Video Receive One Year Prison Sentence Each

Egypt

The group of eight men arrested in Egypt for appearing in a video back in September purportedly featuring a gay marriage have had their jail sentences reduced from 3 years each to one year each by an Egyptian appeals court.

The men were originally convicted in November of broadcasting images that “violated public decency” after video surfaced of what prosecutors said was a gay wedding ceremony aboard a Nile riverboat.

AFP reports:

The defendants’ families, who were expecting their acquittal, screamed and wept on hearing the new sentences, according to an AFP reporter.

Homosexuality is not specifically banned under Egyptian law and the men were initially accused of debauchery.

That charge was dropped after an invasive anal exam of the men showed that they did not have receptive anal sex.

The defence repeatedly denied that the men were gay, and insisted that the lower court had caved in to popular pressure.

One of the defendants told a television talk show prior to their arrest that the video was recorded during a birthday party.

Earlier this month, Egyptian police raided a bathhouse in Cairo and arrested a large group of men on charges of “perversion”.

Lesbians And Gays Play 'Guess The Sex Toy' In Arielle Scarcella Video

Lesbians And Gays Play 'Guess The Sex Toy' In Arielle Scarcella Video
Put on your thinking cap.

Queer YouTube sensation Arielle Scarcella is back with another vlog that brilliantly treads the line between humor and education. In “Guess The Sex Toy,” Scarcella brought together a number of gay and lesbian couples to guess whether zoomed-in photos of different objects are, indeed, sex toys or not.

Among the objects the couples make guesses about? The first ever gender-neutral sex toy and an ancient dildo from 28,000 B.C.!

Check out the video above to see if you can guess correctly yourself. But as one highly astute participant notes during the video: “Everything is a sex toy if you try hard enough.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Head here to see more from Scarcella.
